Sifu Harvey Kurland - Chief Instructor and the
Southwestern Director for Northwest T'ai Chi Ch'uan Association. Mr. Kurland is
Certified Chief Instructor (Sifu) by the Chinese Tai Chi Chuan Association
under Grandmaster Tchoung Ta-tchen. This is the Southwest Chapter's web page
with more information on tai chi and our organization.
Sifu Andrew Dale - Director of the Internal
Wushu Arts in Seattle, WA. IWA is an off-shoot of the NWTCCA and CTCCA in
Seattle. Master Dale is one of the five American students of Tchoung Ta-tchen
that were directly taught and certified by Tchoung to teach his taiji system.
Sifu Eric Eastman
- Chief
Instructor and founder of the Kootenay Tai Chi Center in Nelson BC. Mr. Eastman
is a certified Chief Instructor under Grandmaster Tchoung Ta-tchen and the
CTCCA. Sifu Eastman has been studying Tai Chi since 1969
and began teaching in 1974.
Scott Mullen - A Level Six (assistant)
Instructor for the NWTCCA. Mr. Mullen is a student of Harvey Kurland since the
beginning of the UC Riverside T'ai Chi Ch'uan Program in 1989. Scott has
studied internal and external martial arts since 1978.
Gene Burnett - Mr. Burnett has taught
Master Tchoung's Tai-Chi system since 1985. He trained with Andy Dale in
Seattle and with Master Tchoung himself. Gene is currently teaching classes in
Ashland Oregon.

Asian

Yang Style T'ai-Chi Ch'uan Volume One: Basic Exercises and the First 10 Movements
of the 28 Form. This is an introduction into a comprehensive training program
designed to learn t'ai-chi concepts to reduce your stress, improve your balance
and help you learn the first section of the Symmetrical t'ai-chi ch'uan form.
Yang Style
T'ai-chi ch'uan (Taijiquan) is an excellent low intensity aerobic exercise that
will improve your balance and coordination. It is a wonderful Stress Reduction
method. This DVD is the first of two DVD's covering Section One of the long
form.
Symmetrical
Yang Style T'ai-Chi Ch'uan Volume Two: The 28 Form of Yang Style T'ai-chi
ch'uan. This
video will review the first ten movements and then go into the last 18
movements of the form. It will include some adaptations of the movements for
students who have orthopedic problems. Basic concepts are explored in detail as
well as methods to adapt problem movements for at risk students.

Jim MacInnis -
Choy Kam Man Tai Chi, Spokane,
Wa. Sifu MacInnis studied with Master Choy in the 80's and has been teaching in
Spokane for over 20 years. His system includes Yang forms and weapons.
Master Gao Fu - It is with great
sadness that our friend and teacher Madam Gao has passed on. Madam Gao was an
accomplished Taiji master from China living in Seattle. Master Gao had
taught Qi Gong workshops in Spokane. She will be greatly missed. January, 2005
